There will be a short segment including Chris’s story. This is wonderful exposure as the program is in national prime time and caters for all ages.

The income from the day has been calculated and this year we raised over $5,000 for the Awareness Day 2013. We can’t thank everyone enough for their generosity and following of our day. Together we can make a difference.
We still have all 4 colours of the awareness mask badges available and we intend to sell them through the website and looking at the possibility of selling them at other venues. If anyone has an office, school or workplace that might be interested in stocking them let us know at email@example.com
We were lucky to have the weather on our side this year. A huge contrast to last year’s day when the skies opened up and made everyone who ventured out cold. Today we were blessed with sunshine and the turn out reflected this.
Although it is hard to keep a complete log of everyone who comes along we estimate around 300 people attended this year making it a busy day. Our volunteer facepainter was busy all day and did and amazing job ranging from lovely rainbow butterflies, to fluffy cats and even superheroes! It was great to see so many people participating and enjoying the lovely weather and grounds of Beauty Park.
A huge thank you has to go out to all the people who helped out on the day. We are so lucky to have so much support. The day would not be possible or successful without you.
Lots of people have commented that the inclusion of the suicide memorial service was a positive addition to the day so we will be looking at including that again next year.
